Show
your support for LIVESTRONG
DAY
2008
by joining the
BUSSE
WOODS CIRCLE
OF LIFE BICYCLE RIDE
TUESDAY,
MAY 13, 2008
6:00
p.m.
WHERE / WHEN: We will assemble between
5:45 and
6:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the Busse Lake Boating Center in the
Busse
Woods Forest Preserve (near Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg). Turn south
from Higgins Road
(Rt.
72) just east of its interchange with I-290. Look for ride leader Bart
Benjamin
wearing a yellow and black LIVESTRONG jersey. The ride starts promptly
at 6 p.m.,
weather permitting.
DETAILS: You can ride as little or
as much as
you’d like. Sunset occurs at about 8 p.m. One full loop is 7.8 miles in
length.
Bring your bicycle, helmet and wear yellow
if possible. Although reservations are not required, I would appreciate
an
e-mail “heads up” if you plan to attend.
I hope to see you there!
COST:
There is
no
cost to join this ride, but you will be given information and
encouraged to
make a donation to the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF), which supports
cancer
research and the millions of people whose lives have been affected by
cancer.
