One for All
CYCLING TO SUPPORT THOSE AFFECTED BY CANCER

SUPPORT MY RIDE

2.   SUPPORT MY RIDING.  Give to the Lance Armstrong Foundation in an amount proportional to the miles that I (Bart Benjamin) ride during the 2008 cycling season. I myself have pledged to donate 25¢ per mile that I ride during the 2008 cycling season.

As an e
xample, if I ride 650 miles this season and you pledge 10¢ per my mile, your total contribution to LAF will be $65. With this option, you don't need to ride or keep track of your miles at all. To view my progress thus far, which is posted in bikejournal.com under my rider name Antares, click here.

You are encouraged to make some type of pledge, expressed in cents per mile that I ride during the 2008 cycling season (which for me, here in Illinois, ends in October or early November). You are encouraged to transfer pledged funds to LAF at least once every two months, using Livestrong's specially created (and secure) One for All donation page. By using this special donation page, you will get the tax credit from LAF that you deserve.

So how did this idea originate?   Click here for brief explanation.

For more information or to offer suggestions, or offer suggestions on how we might better organize this fledgling initiative, please contact Bart Benjamin (bikejournal name Antares) at bart22benjamin@yahoo.com.

Benefiting LAF logo

The One For All fund raising project has been approved as an official grassroots event for the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF). Hosted by LAF fundraiser Bart Benjamin, the goal of this initiative is to raise funds for the LAF. Although this is not an official LAF-hosted event, all proceeds will benefit the LAF.

Each one of us can make a difference for all!
