| The moon rose totally eclipsed on
Saturday, March 3, 2007, and clouds further shortened the window of
viewing opportunity. Totality had already ended before any trace of the
moon
became visible. These images were taken at approximately 6:44, 6:50 and
6:57 p.m. CST, respectively. Observations
were made
from my home in Bloomingdale, Illinois. Video was taken with a Sony Hi8 camcorder
fitted with a 2X teleconverter. Video clips were captured with an Instant
DVD+DV unit and VideoStudio 10 software. Frames were aligned and
stacked by RegiStax 4 software to create the finished
images. © 2007 Bart
