A challenge to all cyclists:
Do you ride your bicycle regularly? Has your life or the life of someone you care about been touched by cancer? Are you willing to support cancer research and the millions of people affected by cancer? If so, please join me in my new grassroots fundraising project titled One for All, which raises money for the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF) and the 10 million people in this country who are currently living with, through or beyond cancer.
Make the miles that you ride REALLY count!
If you are a cyclist whose life has been touched in any way by cancer, I challenge you to generously give to the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Read why I'm cycling to support LAF. You, too, can do this in any of these three ways: |

3. DIRECT DONATION. You can simply make a donation to the Lance Armstrong Foundation. |
2. SUPPORT MY RIDING. Give to the Lance Armstrong Foundation in an amount proportional to the miles that I (Bart Benjamin) ride during the 2008 cycling season. (For example, if I ride 650 miles this season and you pledge 10¢ per my mile, your total contribution to LAF will be $65). I myself have pledged to donate 25¢ per mile that I ride during the 2008 cycling season. |
1. RIDE. Give to the Lance Armstrong Foundation in an amount proportional to the number of miles that you ride in one day, one month, or an entire cycling season. (For example, if you ride 50 miles at one time and pledge $1 per mile, your total contribution to LAF will be $50. Or, if you ride 200 miles in the month of August and pledge 50¢ per mile, your total contribution to LAF will be $100). You may also organize a group of riders or find other people to support your fund-raising ride(s). |
